Rehearsal for ECTC & Farewell photo with Chiharu and Haruna

Feb 17 was the last day we get to practice together with the Oota sisters, Chiharu and Haruna, so we held a celebration potluck and talent show/performance at TC 4th Floor Music Room.  Thank you all who came out!  We also had a dress rehearsal for our performance at ECTC conference concert.

East Coast Taiko Conference 2018

Over the past weekend, a bunch of us traveled to Stony Brook University for the 2018 East Coast Taiko Conference.  We had the rare opportunity to learn from many great teachers of taiko and we also had the privilege of performing. It was a weekend filled with workshops, activities and everyone had so much fun, we can't wait for next year's!
