Ishindaiko's visit with NYTAK & Columbia Taiko - Feb 23, 2017

On February 23rd, members of NY Taiko Aiko, Columbia Taiko, and Taiko Tides came together at Columbia to welcome 5 members of Ishindaiko to New York! They were in the US participating in this years ECTC where they gave several workshops.

They gave us a short history of their group (http://www.ishindaiko.com.br/site/) and how taiko became popular in Brazil. Additionally, they played some music for us which was full of energy and movement! What a great meeting, and thank you so much for visiting!
